Albion Online Loot Split Calculator Guide

Split loot fairly among guild members after dungeons, fame farms, ganking, or ZvZ content. Dirtworks handles the math and payouts so you can get back to playing.

What are Loot Splits?

Loot splits divide silver earned during group content among all participants. After a dungeon run, fame farm, or ZvZ session, one person typically collects all the loot and then distributes it. Dirtworks automates the calculation and payout process so officers don't have to do it manually.

Most Albion guilds take a guild cut (typically 5-20%) from the total before splitting, funding the guild treasury for regears, hideout maintenance, and other expenses. Dirtworks handles this automatically.

Loot Split Fields

  • Loot Total - Total silver from the session's loot
  • Books - Value of tomes of insight (optional, added to total)
  • Bags - Value of loot bags (optional, added to total)
  • Repair Cost - Deducted from the total before splitting
  • Guild Cut - Percentage kept by the guild treasury

Split Methods

Equal Split

Everyone gets the same amount. The net pool (after guild cut and repair costs) is divided evenly among all confirmed participants.

Shares Split

Assign a share multiplier to each participant (0.5x to 10x). The net pool is divided proportionally based on total shares. This is useful for:

  • Shot callers / leaders - Give 1.5x or 2x shares for organizing the content
  • Scouts and logistics - Reward support roles that enabled the loot
  • Partial attendance - Give 0.5x to members who only participated part-time
Method Distribution Best For
Equal Same amount per person Dungeons, fame farms, most ZvZ
Shares Proportional to share multiplier Rewarding leaders, scouts, or different roles

Guild Cut

The guild cut is a percentage deducted from the gross loot total before any splits happen. This silver goes to the guild treasury for regears, hideout upkeep, and other shared expenses.

The formula is straightforward:

Guild cut = gross_total * (guild_cut_percent / 100)
Net pool = gross_total - guild_cut - repair_costs
Per person = net_pool / participant_count

Set your default guild cut percentage in the Settings widget. It can be overridden per session.

In the Loot Split widget, enter the total silver, optional book/bag values, and any repair costs. Set the guild cut percentage and choose your split method.

Review and Pay

Preview the per-player breakdown. When satisfied, confirm and execute payouts via UnbelievaBoat or copy amounts for manual distribution.

Worked Examples

Example 1: Equal Split (5 Players, 10% Guild Cut)

Loot Total: 15,000,000 silver
Books: 2,000,000
Bags: 1,000,000
Gross Total: 18,000,000

Repair Cost: 500,000
Guild Cut (10%): 1,800,000
Net Pool: 15,700,000

5 participants, equal split:
  Per person: 3,140,000 silver each

Example 2: Shares Split (3 Players)

Net Pool: 9,000,000 silver

Shares:
  Shot Caller: 2.0x
  Player B: 1.0x
  Player C: 1.0x
  Total shares: 4.0

Per share value: 9,000,000 / 4.0 = 2,250,000

Payouts:
  Shot Caller: 2.0 * 2,250,000 = 4,500,000
  Player B: 1.0 * 2,250,000 = 2,250,000
  Player C: 1.0 * 2,250,000 = 2,250,000
Full Precision

Dirtworks uses full silver precision in calculations - no rounding to thousands or millions. Each player gets their exact share down to the silver.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run multiple loot split sessions at once?

Yes. Each session is fully independent. Run separate sessions for different dungeon groups, fame farms, or content types simultaneously.

How does the guild cut work?

It's a percentage deducted from the gross total before splitting. With 10,000,000 silver and a 10% guild cut, 1,000,000 goes to the guild treasury and 9,000,000 is split among participants.

Can I change the split method after starting?

Yes, you can change the split method and adjust loot values until you confirm the session. Once confirmed and paid, the session is locked.

What if I enter the wrong loot amount?

You can edit loot values any time before confirming. If you've already confirmed but haven't paid, you can undo the confirmation, make changes, and re-confirm.

How do I automate the actual payout?

Set up UnbelievaBoat integration in your guild's Settings widget. Once configured, payouts are executed with a single click directly to members' Discord currency balances. See the ZvZ Payouts guide for setup instructions.
